Tracks 4 begins the story of the future, in which time travel has been newly discovered. It takes place in an anarchic, Utopian society that is organized around the success of time travel and bringing back the pre-apocalyptic Old World. Though devoid of a government, the New World is led by The Organization, which is led by Vincent--the scientific mind behind time travel--and Christopher, a descendant of James, who is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of society. The organization sends Christopher's DNA through time and space, where it will be born thousands of years into the past. The DNA is programmed with the purpose of teaching mankind that love and compassion are far more important than power. Vincent, however, begins to doubt that the Old World is worth saving--pleading with Christopher to save, instead, the society that they have built. Jesus, however, is sent back into the past anyway
lyrics
Take our tongues
Between worlds, we speak
The language of our fathers.
We were all out of time
So when you arrive
Get your things in line
For my own sons
For my own sake
Why are you suddenly so afraid?
Why are we so conscious of everything?
I've been so wrong
To hold on for so long
Mind your son
In time we will be undone
Unless you can see
That humanity has won
Waste your grace,
The boy will be lost in space
Lessons in time,
we'll lose the world we've made
